Open-Air Swim­ming Pool in Altdöbern

The open-air swim­ming pool in the town cen­tre of Altdöbern is run by vol­un­teers and it was built in 1895 as a “bathing facil­ity for male per­sons”. Nowa­days, all guests are wel­come to enjoy water fun at the swim­ming pool on sum­mer days. The open-air swim­ming pool com­prises a 50 metre pool with a 3 metre div­ing tower. There is also a pad­dling pool for the youngest guests and a non-swim­mer pool with a big slide. Fur­ther facil­i­ties include a beach vol­ley­ball court, a sun­bathing lawn, chang­ing rooms, as well as a snack bar and kiosk.
